Also, I'd like to note that thanks to April, my posting rate is asymptotically approaching zero. I pledge to reverse this trend. April will prove the nadir. I'm already on the upslope.
april is well known to be a derivation of the late classic designation apreilscriptidae, itself a pluralized concatination of the (in a pre-dantian sense) vulgar apre il scriptidium, meaning before the period of massive posting, during which the goddesses of fertility, english equine technique, and fence building were worshiped in equal measure. the italics employed here are, of course, clever, in that they indicate the phrase's geographical and--if one allows for the term's dubious validity in the late classic context--national origin.
